1 Block Snack Zucchini, 1 cup, sliced Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1/4 Cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Original Buttery Spray, 10 sprays Non-stick cooking spray Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, then coat with some non-stick cooking spray. Place the zucchini slices out on the pan, then spritz with them with the butter spray. Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese and then pop it in the oven. Broil for a few minutes – until the cheese starts to brown. Enjoy it while it’s warm!

For a 3 block meal.  Adjust your portions accordingly: 4.5 oz  96% Lean ground beef (cooked) which equates to about 6 oz raw if you are measuring your food pre-cooked. 1 Cup cherry tomatoes 1 Cup steamed green beans 1 Cup strawberries 1 slice avocado Portion meat into hamburger patty and season with no salt seasoning. Cook on grill. Steam green beans on stove or our favorite way is to use a steamer bag. They are super easy, and there is no clean up. You can add seasoning to the bag before you cook the beans to give them some addition flavor. You can find steamer bags at any grocery store, they are in the same section as Ziplock bags. Use fresh green beans or frozen if you must. Try to stay away from canned green beans as they have added preservatives and sodium. Enjoy outside in the sun today.

Good Morning, After a lot of really long days we have come to the conclusion that it will make more sense to have our first WOD next Saturday, May 22. We will most likely have some “open” hours this week for everyone to come over and check out the gym, but there are just not enough hours in today and tomorrow to be ready for a WOD on Saturday. Mark your calendars for next Saturday though! We did get part of the floor done yesterday, the rest of the paint, got most of the equipment from the fantastic John Coffey at Colorado Fitness Equipment. Now we need to build it, finish the pull up system, and keep working on the floor! Wednesday: Courtney and Brandon’s Construction workout…if you want to join us drop by! Unload off trailer 50 sheets of 4×6 rubber that weight 100lbs, drag across gym…change your mind about location, move to other side of gym Load all equipment into truck(including 500lbs of weight, 500lbs dumbbells, med balls, rower, squat racks, bars, etc) Unload all equipment out of truck…move 3 times because we are not sure where it’s final destination will be Climb up and down ladder for one hour finishing paint, and bathroom ceiling Carry steel pull-up system from trailer to back of gym, secure it to the wall and floor…carry second half, repeat Then consume a 2-5 block Zone/Paleo meal every 3 hours… Collapse into bed! We are making progress! If all goes as planned we will be ready on SATURDAY! Hope to see you all there. Times TBA
