New Program Announcement!!

We are happy to say that we are adding a new program to our “regular” Functional Fitness Classes. The program is called Essentials. Essentials is based on the same philosophy as Functional Fitness but will have a larger emphasis on body weight movement and will not have the barbell work. There will still be many of the same movementbut done with dumbbells. If you have friends that are a little intimidated by the barbell work or by Functional Fitness in general this would be a great program for them! We are also excited to announce that Nettie Jenkins and Forrest Burke will be joining our staff in teaching these classes! Essentials combines body weight movements with core conditioning, light resistance, running, and full body functional movement all done in a circuit style format.  We will challenge your body in a different way everyday with innovative exercises which lead to constant adaptation, results, continued motivation and fun. Done in a positive group atmosphere where your peers will push you to be your best and you will do the same for them. 

 What to expect:

Every class will have at least one coach, who is there to support, teach and lead you on your journey to health. We won’t be yelling orders in your face, only positive helpful instruction. Each day will have a group warm up and some skill practice followed by a workout of the day(WOD). The WOD will be different everyday which keep Essentials from every becoming boring and leads to increases in lean mass, increased stamina, decrease in body fat %. Essentials will help you in any athletic endeavor you want to take on, whether it be a marathon, triathlon, cycling, adventure races, adult soccer or softball or just everyday life! Our athletes are able to keep up with their kids and grand kids, and are just better suited to take on the stresses of everyday life.
