Good morning all. We hate to ever cancel class but from what we can gather it is just not worth taking the chance on the roads this morning. Merry Christmas you get a rest day if you weren’t planning on one already!  If you are not able to make the evening classes here are a few options you can do at home.

Option A)

  • Shovel your driveway for time…but remember good technique, set your back, lift with your legs.
  • If your own driveway is not enough shovel your neighbors as well, or add in 5 burpees at the top of every minute in the snow. If you have never done burpees in the snow, you will soon appreciate how hard they are! 
  • Cash out with snow angels!
  • Don’t forget to enjoy the snow and the season!

If you do not prefer to outside and want to stay warm inside do Option B)

“Tabata”   8 Rounds each of 20 secs on 10 secs off

  • Squat
  • Rest 1 min
  • Push up
  • Rest 1 min
  • Lunges (weighted if you have weight at home)
  • Rest 1 min
  • Hollow Rocker
  • Rest 1 min

Complete 8 rounds of each. You score is the total for each movement. Remember you do all 8 rounds of squats, then 8 rounds of push ups, then lunges then hollow rockers. Do not intermix the exercises. Post times to comments! Be safe and stay off the roads if you don’t have to! 

Don’t forget you can always get your mobility in at home as well!
