From a young age, I was actively involved in sports, playing football, baseball, and running track through high school. I was fortunate to receive a football scholarship to Adams State College, and later transferred to Metropolitan State College of Denver, where I earned a bachelor of arts in Human Performance and Sport with a minor in Nutrition.
This journey led me to an internship, and eventually a position, as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Colorado, working with 100+ top-level athletes daily. Afterward, I worked at Velocity Sports Performance, Colorado Athletic Club at Inverness (CAC), and Mountainside Fitness/Core Concepts, gaining diverse experience in sport-specific training, Olympic lifts, plyometrics, agility drills, and Functional Fitness.
During this time, I also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for several AAA youth hockey teams in Denver, which challenged my creativity and knowledge as a coach.
I was a very competitive athlete for many years after we opened the gym. Since then I have grown a lot as a coach, human and dad. I love helping people see their and achieve their potential.
